T. Andre Feagin demands UTEP miner Football fans to get on their FEEEEEEEEEEET
The summer is filled with practices, drills and planning for the fall football season at The University of Texas at El Paso, but Mike Price's team is not the only club that is looking to start the year on the right foot. In May, T. Andre Feagin joined the faculty of the Department of Music as assistant professor of music and associate director of bands. He will take over the direction of the UTEP Marching Miners, Pep Band and Symphonic Band. He comes to campus as faculty and students seek to expand the music department's role within the University. "Their energy and excitement is contagious and it sets a wonderful palette for the future," Feagin said. "I am very much looking forward to all of that." A graduate of the University of Memphis, Feagin brings much instructional and musical arranging experience from his years teaching in public schools in Tennessee, Texas and California. He also has served in different roles with various drum and bugle corps—elite youth music and marching ensembles that tour the country each summer, which he calls "professional marching bands." In his new position, Feagin looks to bring concepts from the drum corps arena to the UTEP marching band program. "What I will bring here is a heightened sense of detail," Feagin commented. "It's about bringing a sense of pride, professionalism, precision and power to what we do." Five Seasons Unveils "I Lost it At the Club" Program, Set for Jan. 10th Start Burr Ridge, IL -- December 21, 2010 -- When you hear "I lost it at the club," a set of misplaced keys or a favorite workout shirt might come to mind. But starting on Jan. 10 at Five Seasons Family Sports Club in Burr Ridge, the phrase takes on an altogether different meaning: losing some, or all, of those pounds that you've been lugging around for awhile. 'I Lost it At the Club!' is an eight-week motivational weight loss program designed to help current members and people from the local community keep their New Year's resolutions and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle year-round. The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) administers the program. At Five Seasons, the program runs for eight weeks through March 7. As part of the program, Five Seasons will launch multiple group training options and hold educational workshops each week presented by fitness and medical professionals. In addition, the club is opening up the program to non-members. The program is more than simply a personal training tool, Brian Myers, Five Seasons' director of fitness, said. Interview with Sami Al Basheer Al Morshid, Director of ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau. Mr. Al Basheer Al Mosrshid highlights concrete intiatives and actions that ITU is carrying out, such as the initiative "Connect a School, Connect a Community" or programmes on regulation. He also explains how ICTs are an essential part of development. Thefifth World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-10), will take place in Hyderabad, India from 24 May to 4 June 2010 at the kind invitation of the Government of India. The objective of WTDC-10 is to identify priorities for the development of telecommunications and information and communication technologies (ICTs), taking into account contributions made by Member States and Sector Members, and to adopt the Hyderabad Action Plan (HAP) setting the future of activities of the ITU Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D) over the next four-year period. The Regional Preparatory Meetings (RPM) which were held in 2009 and early 2010 have given the opportunity to prepare regional input for WTDC-10. Participants will include government delegates, Ministers, Ambassadors and representatives from the private sector, as well as regional and international organizations.

He has been roped in as the brand ambassador of Nissan Motor India Private Ltd (NMIPL). "I feel really good that such a big brand has given me this responsibility. It's truly a good, comforting car and it's not that expensive also," Ranbir told reporters here Tuesday after the launch of Nissan's first locally made car - Nissan Micra.
